Vanuatu

Vanuatu is a Y–shaped archipelago consisting of about 82 relatively small, geologically newer islands of volcanic origin (65 of which are inhabited), with about 11,000 square kilometers (4,200 sq mi) of land area.

The two largest islands are Espiritu Santo and Malakula. The capital city is Port Vila, located on Efate Island. The Vanuatu group is one of the four subgroups of the Melanesian group of islands in the Pacific Ocean, the others being the Banks Islands, the Santa Cruz Islands, and the Solomon Islands. Vanuatu has a tropical climate, with a wet season from November to April and a dry season from May to October.

The economy of Vanuatu is based on agriculture, tourism, and offshore financial services. The main agricultural products are copra, cocoa, coffee, livestock, and fish. Tourism is a significant contributor to the economy, with about 400,000 visitors each year. Offshore financial services are also important, with Vanuatu having a reputation as a “tax haven“. The Vanuatu kava industry is also an important part of the economy. The government of Vanuatu is a parliamentary democracy.

The head of state is the President, who is elected by the Parliament. The head of government is the Prime Minister, who is appointed by the President. The Parliament of Vanuatu is unicameral, with 52 members elected by popular vote to serve four–year terms. Vanuatu is a member of the United Nations, the Commonwealth of Nations, the Pacific Islands Forum, and the Melanesian Spearhead Group.

Vatican City

Vatican City, officially Vatican City State or the State of Vatican City, is a landlocked country within the city of Rome. With an area of 44 hectares (110 acres) and a population of about 1,000, it is the smallest state in the world by both area and population.

Vatican City

The country is distinct from the Holy See, which dates back to early Christianity and is the main episcopal see of the Catholic Church, with 1.3 billion members worldwide.

The territory of Vatican City is composed of two principal parts: the Vatican Hill, which makes up most of the state, and the area outside Vatican City walls, which includes the famous Saint Peter‘s Square and the Apostolic Palace. The Vatican Hill is a small hill located in the northwestern part of Rome, which is the headquarters of the Holy See and the site of the Pope‘s residence. The Vatican wall is 3.2 kilometers (2.0 mi) in length and up to 5 meters (16 ft) in height.

Venezuela

Venezuela is a country on the northern coast of South America. Colombia borders it to the west, Brazil to the south, and Guyana to the east. Venezuela has a territory of 916,445 square kilometers and a population of over 30 million people.

Venezuela

The official language of Venezuela is Spanish, and the currency is the Venezuelan Bolívar. The territory of Venezuela was originally inhabited by indigenous peoples. In the 16th century, Venezuela was colonized by Spain. It became an independent republic in 1821.

Venezuela is a federal republic. The president is the head of state and the head of government. The unicameral National Assembly is the legislative body. The economy of Venezuela is diversified. The main industries are agriculture, mining, manufacturing, and tourism. Venezuela is a member of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). Venezuela is a founding member of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA) and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).

Vietnam

Vietnam is a country located in Southeast Asia. It is bordered by China to the north, Laos, and Cambodia to the west, and the South China Sea to the east. The country has a tropical climate, with two main seasons: the rainy season from May to October, and the dry season from November to April. The average temperature is around 27 degrees Celsius. Vietnam is a country with a long history.

Vietnam

It was first inhabited by the Austronesian people around 4,000 years ago. The first Vietnamese state was founded in 208 BC by the Han Chinese. The country then went through a period of Chinese rule, followed by a period of independence. In 938 AD, the Vietnamese state was annexed by the Chinese Tang dynasty. In 1054, the Vietnamese regained their independence, but in 1257 they were again conquered by the Mongols.

In 1428, the Vietnamese state was established, which lasted until 1883 when the country was colonized by the French. The Vietnamese fought many wars against the French and eventually regained their independence in 1945.

Since then, Vietnam has been through many changes. The country was divided into North and South Vietnam in 1954, after the Geneva Conference. The Vietnam War began in 1955 and ended in 1975. The United States became involved in the conflict in an attempt to stop the spread of communism. More than 58,000 Americans and an estimated 2 million Vietnamese were killed in the war.

In 1976, North and South Vietnam were reunited as communist states. In the late 1980s, the Vietnamese economy began to decline due to the country‘s inefficient centrally planned economy. In 1986, the Communist Party of Vietnam introduced economic and political reforms known as doi moi (renovation). These reforms, which are still ongoing, have helped to spur economic growth and reduce poverty.
