About her brother
Actor and presenter Atthaphan Phunsawat, a.k.a. Gun, is from Thailand. His roles as Punn in The Gifted (2018), Third in Theory of Love (2019), and Black/White in Not Me (2021–2022) are his most well-known works. On October 4, 1993, Atthaphan was born in Bangkok, Thailand. He is now a Political Science student at Ramkhamhaeng University, having previously studied Business Administration at the University of Bangkok.
Atthaphan said in an interview that his mother, who was aware of her son’s aspirations, encouraged him to pursue his early career in entertainment. “Mommy, Gun wants to be on TV,” he said. He went on-screen test dates with her help and won the first Boy Model Competition in 2003. One of his most well-known works in Thailand, “Gomin,” from 2004, featured him in his first major role. At nine or ten years old, Gun became a well-known child actor because of the popularity of this legendary soap opera when it was first broadcast. Since then, he has been involved in several Channel 7 and Channel 3 TV dramas throughout his boyhood, being active in the business to a greater or lesser degree. In particular, it was in the film industry that Atthaphan first gained recognition in the drama genre. He was spotted in independent productions like Kongkiat Khomsiri’s Slice (2009), a Thai thriller in which a teenage actor shocked viewers by playing an abused child. The film went on to win Best Supporting Actor at the 7th Chalerm Thai Awards (2010) and receive a nomination for the Suphannahong National Film Awards.
His role as Tam earned him a nomination for Best Actor at the Thai Film Directors Association Awards and another at the Suphannahong National Film Awards (2016). He also won Performance of the Year at the Bioscope Awards 2015 with his co-star Oabnithi Wiwattanawarang (Oab), which is undoubtedly another production that elevated his stature as an actor. Gun became well-known after joining GMMTV in 2016 when he costarred with Jumpol Adulkittiporn as Rome in the film Senior Secret Love: Puppy Honey (2016) and its sequel. Due to their great chemistry, the two were cast as leads in the romantic drama “Theory of Love” (2019), hosted online series, and released the single “Too Cute To Handle.”
Off and Gun won many Best Couple Awards together from organizations that present awards, including the LINE TV Awards (2019, 2020) and the Maya Awards (2018, 2019). As Punn in ‘The Gifted’ (2018), Atthaphan received praise from the independent press as well. For this role, he was honored with two awards: Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the 24th Asian Television Awards (2020) and Best Fight Scene at the LINE TV Awards (2019). Apart from being an actor, Gun owns the clothing line GENTE and, together the actresses Alice Tsoi and Nichaphat Chatchaipholrat (Pearwah), co-owns the clothing line Too Cute To Be Cool.
Career
A Thai BL series called Cooking Crush centers on a budding chef enrolled in culinary school. The main character comes upon an undernourished medical student one day and fixes him a complimentary lunch. His mouthwatering cuisine made an impact. When the main character is employed as a private culinary instructor, he is taken aback. With every personal lesson learned in the kitchen, he becomes closer to his new acquaintance. Cooking Crush has a bad taste due to its ridiculous interactions and juvenile storylines. Many plots seem excessively frivolous, foolish, and silly. The main characters engage in endearing exchanges in a charming enough relationship.
Prem resides with his grandma, as does Pang, his younger sister. Their family owns and operates a little eatery near the canal. Prem is motivated to pursue a job similar to hers because of his grandma. His dream is to start his restaurant and work as a professional chef. Prem’s granny covers his education at a posh cooking school despite their little income. He wants to do well in his academics so that she will be proud of him. In his third year of culinary school, Prem is a student. Less hands-on culinary instruction was taught over the first two years than he had anticipated. Before gaining access to the kitchen, he has to complete the necessary courses and acquire classroom theories. This semester, he gets to cook for the first time. Prem goes to the lectures with Unky and Dynamite, two of his pals.
Nonetheless, a couple of other students harass them. Boon, Ball, and Babe—collectively referred to as the 3Bs—come to mock their peers for not having any skill. Boon is the head of the group and is the one who starts the animosity. Ten, a medical student who goes to the same university as Prem, is nearby. He is from an affluent background. Ten’s mother died of disease many years ago. He hasn’t had a good connection with his strict father since then. Ten resists his controlling father, who tries to dictate all aspects of his son’s life. They fought over breakfast not long ago. Ten forgoes dinner to make a point. He fasts for the remainder of the physically demanding day, nearly passing out.
Ten nearly passes out from hunger when he is lost in a fog around school. Prem pours the stranger a cup of soup out of compassion. The dinner tastes so good that Ten is in awe. He approaches Prem later on with a job offer. Ten is interested in hiring this gifted chef to conduct private culinary classes. At first, Prem wasn’t interested. But the ridiculously large payout made him reconsider. Ten is prepared to spend a large sum of money! The two start their private culinary classes. Prem carefully considers each instruction as he gets a deeper understanding of his customers.
Ten has friendships with Metha and Fire. Fire has a rigid family, much like Ten. His mother is a chemist and demands her kid to be flawless. Fire tries to impress his parents, yet he engages in sly mischievous behavior behind their backs. Fire wants to ask his classmate Jane out on a date since he has feelings for her. Just before then, he is cut off.
