Namecheap has not launched its Black Friday 2026 sale yet. When we checked on 3 November 2026, its Black Friday page still showed last year’s “The deals are over” message. Today its shared hosting starts at $2.28 a month on yearly billing (Stellar, 61% off) after a 30-day free trial, and new customers can get a .com for $6.48.
Last year Namecheap’s Black Friday sale ran from 21 November to 5 December 2025, with Stellar hosting at $0.98 a month ($11.76 for the first year) using code MATRIXSHARED25. Below are today’s prices and renewals, last year’s codes and terms, the free trial and refund rules, and whether to buy now or wait.

If Namecheap repeats last year’s deal, waiting could save about $15 on Stellar’s first year ($11.76 last Black Friday against $26.88 today). That is not confirmed for 2026, and last year’s sale price came without the 30-day money-back guarantee. If you need hosting now, every shared plan has a 30-day free trial.
- Today: Stellar $2.28/mo yearly or $1.88/mo bi-yearly, after a 30-day free trial; .com $6.48 for new customers.
- Last Black Friday: 21 November to 5 December 2025, “up to 99% off”; Stellar $0.98/mo ($11.76 for year one) with code MATRIXSHARED25.
- Watch out: last year the 30-day money-back guarantee did not apply during the sale, and discounts do not apply to renewals (Stellar renews at $55.88 a year).
- Refunds today: 30-day money-back only if you start without the free trial.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stellar | $2.28/mo (61% off); $26.88 first year on the bundle page | $1.88/mo (68% off) | $5.88/mo | $55.88 (bundle page: renews at $55.88/yr) |

| Stellar Business | $4.98/mo (58% off) | $4.48/mo (62% off) | $11.88/mo | $128.88 |
Namecheap says its “advertised discount offer only applies to purchases of annual and biennial plans” and “does not apply to renewals”. Its domain and hosting bundle page shows Stellar at $26.88 for the first year, renewing at $55.88 a year (12 x $2.28 would be $27.36, so check the exact amount in the cart). The bundle adds 60% off a new .com or .net for the first year, and some extensions such as .org, .online and .eco free for the first year; Namecheap says bundle offers cannot be combined with promo codes. A free non-premium domain is included with hosting for the first year, one per plan.
EasyWP and VPS
Namecheap’s managed WordPress hosting, EasyWP, offers the first month of Starter free, then $9.88 a month; on yearly billing the plans show $3.24, $5.16 and $6.57 a month. Free trials are excluded from EasyWP refunds. Its VPS hosting starts at $3.88 a month billed yearly; we could not confirm the VPS renewal price.
What Namecheap offered last Black Friday

|---|---|---|---|
| Stellar | $0.98/mo (80% off) | $11.76 | $48.88 a year |

| Stellar Business | $3.18/mo (68% off) | $38.16 | $112.88 a year |
- Dates and headline: 21 November to 5 December 2025, “up to 99% off”.
- Domains: code MATRIXTLD25 made .com $7.48 for the first year (up to 5 domains); MATRIXDTR25 made .com transfers $9.48.
- EasyWP: first month $0, $1 or $2 on Starter, Turbo and Supersonic, then $9.88, $18.88 or $26.88 a month.
- Catches: “The 30-day money-back guarantee for hosting is not applicable during our Black Friday Cyber Week campaign”, hosting deals were for new annual plans only, and one promo code worked per transaction.
- 2024: “Temple of Deals”, up to 97% off, 29 November to 6 December 2024; Stellar was also $11.76 for the first year with code BFCMSHARED24.
Namecheap free trial and money-back guarantee
- Free trial: every shared plan shows “Free trial $0.00 for 30 days”, limited to one per account. Namecheap does not say on the page whether a card is needed or what is charged after 30 days, so check before you start.
- Money-back: “Our 30-day money-back guarantee applies only to first-time Shared Hosting customers who start their account without a 30 day trial.”
- During last year’s sale: the money-back guarantee did not apply to hosting bought in the Black Friday campaign.
- Domains: each domain registration, renewal or transfer has a mandatory $0.20 ICANN fee.
Should you buy Namecheap now or wait for Black Friday?
- Wait if you want the lowest first-year price. In 2024 and 2025, Black Friday Stellar was $11.76 for the first year, less than half of today’s $26.88. Namecheap has not confirmed a 2026 repeat. If a 2-year term suits you, bi-yearly Stellar at $1.88 a month works out to about $22.56 a year (our calculation, no cart test), which narrows the gap.
- Start the free trial now if you need a site live. You can test Stellar for 30 days, but note that starting with the trial removes the 30-day money-back guarantee.
- Budget for the renewal. The discount covers the first term only. Stellar renews at $55.88 a year today, according to the bundle page; during last year’s sale the renewal shown was $48.88 a year.
- For domains, compare codes. .com is $6.48 for new customers today, against $7.48 with last year’s Black Friday code.
