About Gaming
Worth saying at the top, because the category name is misleading: this is a board games section, not a video games one. If you came looking for console or PC coverage, it is not here.
What is here is a reference project – board games catalogued alphabetically, a list for every letter, including the awkward ones. Games beginning with X and U are short lists by necessity; S and T run long. Each entry says what the game is and who tends to enjoy it, rather than scoring it.
The point of doing it alphabetically is recall. Most people arrive half-remembering a name, and an A-to-Z is the fastest way back to it. The lists are also useful when choosing something for a particular group – a family, a pair, a table of six who do not all want the same evening.
For video games and the wider culture around them, the site does not currently have a home; Tech is the nearest thing.
