Cloudways has not launched its Black Friday 2026 deal yet, but you can already get 40% off for 4 months with promo code TREAT26, for new customers. When we checked on 3 November 2026, Cloudways’ promo page offered that code, its Black Friday page returned “404”, and it was collecting sign-ups for an “Earlybird BFCM” deal with no discount named.
Last year Cloudways’ Black Friday deal was 50% off for 3 months plus 50 free migrations, from 12 November to 5 December 2025 (its blog said 11 November to 4 December). Below is how today’s code compares with that deal, what Cloudways costs, how its hourly billing and free trial work, and whether to sign up now or wait.

On the plan price alone, today’s 40%-for-4-months code saves about as much as last year’s Black Friday deal: about $1.40 more on a $14 plan if you keep the server for all 4 months (over 3 months, last year’s deal saved more), by our calculation. Last year’s deal also discounted add-ons and included 50 free migrations, so wait if you need those.
- Code now: TREAT26, 40% off for 4 months, new customers only. It is applied when you sign up through Cloudways’ promo link (our link uses it too).
- Cheapest plan: Micro on DigitalOcean, Vultr or Linode, $14 a month (1 GB RAM, 1 vCPU), billed after use.
- Last Black Friday: 50% off for 3 months on all plans and add-ons, plus 50 free migrations (12 November to 5 December 2025).
- Try first: 5-day free trial on Flexible plans, no credit card needed (not on AWS or Google Cloud).
- No lock-in: pay as you go, with no long-term contract.
Cloudways Black Friday 2026: what we know
- Black Friday 2026: not announced. Cloudways’ Black Friday page redirected to its 404 page, and the promo page invited visitors to “Grab Earlybird BFCM Deal” without naming a discount.
- Live code: the promo page says “Get 40% Off for 4 Months”, and its sign-up button carries code TREAT26. Terms: “This offer is only valid for new customers” and “Free migration must be requested within the first four billing cycles”.
- A second offer: the pricing page banner showed “Get 30% OFF for 3 Months on All Plans” with code BFCM802. Cloudways did not publish terms for it, and its discount is smaller than TREAT26’s. We could not confirm which code Cloudways treats as current.
- Webinar: a site-wide bar promoted a free Black Friday preparation webinar on 10 November. It is not a discount.
Today’s code vs last Black Friday’s deal
| Today (TREAT26) | Black Friday 2025 | Black Friday 2024 | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Discount | 40% off for 4 months | 50% off for 3 months | 40% off for 4 months |
| Extras | free migration (request within 4 billing cycles) | 50 free migrations; add-ons 50% off | up to 40 free migrations |
| Saving on a $14 Micro plan | about $22.40 | about $21.00 | about $22.40 |
| Who | new customers | new customers | Not verified |
Last year’s terms said the 50% discount applied “to your first three calendar months of service usage. This includes the month you sign up”, paid as monthly credits, the first “within the first 10 days of the subsequent calendar month”. So if you sign up late in a month, part of the discount goes on a short first month. Cloudways’ 2025 pages named the code BFCM5050, while its terms PDF named BFCM2025; both said it was applied automatically at sign-up.

Cloudways’ other DigitalOcean sizes on the same page were Small at $28, Medium at $54 and Large at $99 a month. Plans list free Cloudflare Enterprise, free SSL, malware protection and offsite backups, although backup storage is charged at $0.033 per GB. Cloudways’ Autonomous plans start from $99 to $100 a month after a 3-day free trial (Cloudways shows both figures). Invoices may add VAT or other tax depending on where you are.

How Cloudways billing and the free trial work
- Billed after use: “Usage is tracked hourly throughout the month. On the 1st, you’ll get an invoice”. A full month is capped at the listed monthly price.
- No contract: Cloudways says it is pay as you go: “There are no long-term commitments”. So there is no 1- or 3-year term to choose, unlike most Black Friday hosting deals.
- Free trial: “Flexible includes a 5-day free trial, no credit card required. The trial doesn’t include AWS or Google Cloud.” When the trial ends, the server is deleted.
- Codes don’t stack: “Cloudways promo codes usually cannot be combined with other cloud discount codes.”
- Renewals: Cloudways says “Most Cloudways promo codes and discounts are for new customers and first-time purchases”. After the discount months, you pay the normal hourly rate.

Should you sign up for Cloudways now or wait for Black Friday?
- Sign up now for the plan discount. TREAT26 saves about $1.40 more on a $14 plan than last year’s deal, but only if you keep the server for all 4 months. Over 3 months, last year’s 50% saved more ($21.00 against $16.80). We applied today’s $14 price to both deals, and last year’s discount started in your sign-up month.
- Wait if you need many migrations or add-ons. Last year’s Black Friday deal included 50 free migrations and 50% off add-ons. Cloudways has not said whether 2026 will be similar.
- Start with the free trial. Start the 5-day trial through the promo link so the code is on your account from the start; Cloudways says the offer “can only be availed by signing up with the promo code”. Check that it shows before you pay.
- Remember it is monthly. Because Cloudways bills monthly with no contract, the discount covers months, not years, so compare the saving in dollars, not percent.
