DreamHost has not announced a Black Friday 2026 sale yet, but its prices are already at last year’s Black Friday level. When we checked on 3 November 2026, its “Special Web Hosting offer for November 2026” put the Launch plan at $1.99 a month on a 4-year term, with pages marked “On Sale” across web hosting, WordPress hosting, managed WordPress (DreamPress) and managed VPS. There was no end date and no code to type.
Last year DreamHost’s Black Friday sale ran until 2 December 2025 and also advertised “Hosting from $1.99 /mo”, plus a free handcrafted site build with annual plans and .com domains at $4.99 for the first year. Below are today’s prices and renewals for every term, last year’s offer, the refund rules and whether to buy now or wait.

DreamHost’s November offer already matches last year’s Black Friday headline: Launch at $1.99 a month (83% off on the 4-year term), and its web hosting links use the same 2025 Black Friday promo code. Last year Black Friday cut the home-page “Starting at” figure from $2.99 to $1.99 (terms not stated) and added a free site build and $4.99 .com domains; this year the $1.99 price is already live.
- Cheapest: Launch at $1.99/mo on a 4-year term (about $95.52 upfront by our calculation), renewing at $7.99/mo.
- Shorter term: Launch at $2.89/mo for the first year, renewing at $10.99/mo.
- Watch out: the full term is charged upfront, and the low price applies to the first term only.
- Refunds: a 30-day money-back guarantee on card and PayPal payments, with exclusions; domains are not refundable.
DreamHost Black Friday 2026: what we know
- Black Friday 2026: not announced. DreamHost’s Black Friday URLs, including /promos/black-friday/, returned 404, and its blog had no Black Friday post.
- Live now: a “Special Web Hosting offer for November 2026” with no end date stated.
- Code: none to type. DreamHost’s sign-up links carry its promo codes automatically; on 3 November the web hosting links still used “WH-BF2025”, the code from last year’s Black Friday sale.
DreamHost web hosting prices today
| Plan | Monthly | 1 year | 2 years | 4 years |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Launch | $4.99 first 3 months, then $11.99 | $2.89/mo, renews $10.99 | $2.49/mo, renews $8.99 | $1.99/mo, renews $7.99 |
| Growth | $5.99, then $13.99 | $3.99/mo, renews $12.99 | $3.59/mo, renews $9.99 | $3.49/mo, renews $8.99 |
| Scale | $12.99, then $27.99 | $9.99/mo, renews $25.99 | $8.99/mo, renews $22.99 | $7.99/mo, renews $19.99 |
Web Hosting and WordPress Hosting use the same Launch, Growth and Scale plans. DreamHost says “The full term plus taxes is charged at checkout”, so the 4-year Launch price is about $95.52 upfront by our calculation (48 x $1.99), and the 1-year price is about $34.68. Launch allows 25 websites, about 40,000 monthly visits and 25 GB of NVMe storage. Annual and multi-year plans include a free domain for the first year; domain renewal costs extra, and email is a 3-month trial, then billed separately.

DreamPress and managed VPS prices
| Plan | Sale price | Renews at |
|---|---|---|
| DreamPress 1 (1 year) | $14.99/mo (40% off) | $19.99/mo |
| DreamPress 1 (3 years) | $11.99/mo | $16.99/mo |
| Managed VPS Business (3 years) | $10/mo (73% off) | $24.99/mo |
| Managed VPS Business (1 year) | $13.75/mo (63% off) | $31.99/mo |
The $10 a month managed VPS price is the 3-year term. Higher managed VPS tiers on 3 years are $20 (Professional), $40 (Enterprise) and $60 (Premier) a month.

What DreamHost offered last Black Friday
- Headline: “Free Handcrafted Site (48hr build!) + Hosting from $1.99 /mo”, with “Up to 83% Off Hosting” on the site banner.
- Free site build: “when you sign up for any annual hosting plan. Annual hosting required. Terms Apply.”
- Domains: new .com domains at $4.99 for the first year, and .ai at $64.99 a year for 2 years.
- Dates: the banner appeared between 20 and 21 November 2025, and the page said “Sale ends Dec 2, 2025”, so it covered Cyber Monday.
- Before and during: on 20 November 2025 the home page said web hosting “Starting at $2.99 /mo” and “Up to 75% Off”; on 28 November it said $1.99 and “Up to 83% Off”. DreamPress went from “Starting at $16.99” to $11.99, and managed VPS stayed at $10.
- 2024: offers ended on 2 December 2024 “unless otherwise noted”; DreamPress was $12.99 a month for the first year with 4 months free on annual billing, and .com was $7.99 for the first year.
So DreamHost’s headline price today is the same as last year’s Black Friday headline, and the 2025 code is still in its links. The 1-year prices are identical to last Black Friday’s ($2.89 Launch, $3.99 Growth, $9.99 Scale, $14.99 DreamPress 1). DreamHost’s 2025 pages did not say which term the $1.99 was on. What last year’s Black Friday added was the free site build and the $4.99 .com domain.

DreamHost money-back guarantee
DreamHost’s plan cards say “30-Day Money-Back Guarantee”. Its Terms of Service (last updated 27 August 2026) say the offer “is only applicable to credit card and PayPal payments for DreamHost Website Hosting Services”, “excluding Email Service, Dedicated Server, VPS, Remixer, and DreamCompute products”, and that “Domain registrations … are not refundable under any circumstances.” The managed VPS page still advertises a 30-day guarantee, which conflicts with the VPS exclusion, so ask DreamHost before relying on a VPS refund. The free domain’s value is not refunded if you cancel: the Terms include “any used domain registration credits included with the plan”. DreamHost did not say whether these prices are for new customers only, so check the cart.
Should you buy DreamHost now or wait for Black Friday?
- For hosting alone, now is fine. Today’s prices match last year’s Black Friday headline, and DreamHost has not said they will drop further.
- Wait if you want the extras. Last year Black Friday added a free site build with annual plans and $4.99 .com domains. DreamHost has not said whether it will repeat them.
- Choose the term by total cost. The 4-year Launch price is lowest per month, but you pay about $95.52 upfront; the 1-year plan is about $34.68, then $10.99 a month.
- Check the renewal line. Every DreamHost card shows the price it auto-renews at.
