Sahaphap Wongratch, better known by his stage name Mix, is an actor, model, and singer from Thailand. He is a member of the boy band Cute Chef Thailand and is presently employed by the GMMTV production business in Thailand. He is well-known for playing Muang Nan in Fish Upon the Sky (2021) and for his lead role as Tian in GMMTV’s A Tale of Thousand Stars (2021). Bio, Education, and Family

On July 22, 1998, Sahaphap Wongratch was born in Lampang Province, Thailand. He completed his studies at Bunyawat Witthayalai School and received a high school diploma. Although he is fluent in Kam Muang or the Northern dialect, he had to adopt a conventional Thai accent for his major part in the television series “A Tale of Thousand Stars,” as a youngster from central Thailand. He is regularly invited to talk in his dialect by the media for shows or interviews because of his notoriety as a native Northerner and fluent speaker of the dialect. Mix publicly backs LGBT rights and the LGBT community, particularly the effort to make same-sex marriage legal in Thailand.

Mix is a fifth-year student in the veterinary science faculty at Chulalongkorn University. He made his debut in the Thai entertainment scene when he was chosen to be a member of Chula Cute Boy. He also led the university flag in the procession during the Chula-Thammasat Traditional Football Match.

Career

2018 saw Mix make his public television program appearances, marking the beginning of his career. In 2019, he made his acting debut with GMMTV. He played in the boy band “Cute Chef Thailand,” whose self-titled first album was called Haguttokyuukyuu. He unveiled the XIW merchandise collection in December 2012. He was also included in a Star Wars x Pandora joint project. He has started endorsing a few foreign products (Lazada, Food Panda, and Burger King). While appearing as a guest on Arm Share, an online show hosted by GMMTV, he discussed “Skin Care Sharing” and shared his skincare routine and products. He also mentioned his other nickname, @mixxiw, which he added to his name MIX. This name was then rotated 180 degrees to become XIW, or “Mixxiw,” which is also the name of his merchandise line.

After he costarred with Pirapat Watthanasetsiri (Earth) as Chief Phupha in the popular Thai Boys’ love series A Tale of Thousand Stars, as Tian, a wealthy man who became a volunteer teacher in Pha Pun Dao, Mix’s name gained more recognition in Thailand and throughout the globe. His depiction of Tian garnered favorable reviews, which boosted his reputation and provided him with more possibilities. Due to their exceptional chemistry together in the series, his and Pirapat’s fan base dubbed them “EarthMix,” a play on their respective names.

In the popular Thai series Fish upon the Sky, he portrayed the charming and kind character of “Muang Nan,” a second-year student in the Allied Health Sciences Department. He costarred with Phuwin Tangsakyuen, Trai Nimtawat (Neo), Naravit Lertratkosum (Pond), and Thanawin Teeraphosukarn (Louis). Together with his co-star Earth Pirapat, he attended his first-ever virtual fan event on June 26, 2021, titled Earth Mix: Love at First Live Fan Meeting. Alongside his other Fish upon the Sky lead stars, he was also included in Fish upon the Sky Live Fan Meeting: A Sky Full of Fish. Mix announced in July 2023 that he would be taking a little break from acting to finish his veterinary education.
