Chinese actress Xu Ruohan is well renowned for her lead performance in the action thriller Vanguard (2020). After that, she played the lead in a number of romance films and TV shows, such as Perfect and Casual (2020), Almost Love (2022), and The Forbidden Flower (2023). She was born on February 27, 1998, and she debuted on the big screen for the first time in the 2020 action film “Vanguard”. She joined the entertainment industry in 2018 after being discovered by Jackie Chan, who cast her as the lead in her first literary film, “My Diary”. In this article, we will learn more about Xu Ruo Han’s Bio, Profile, Education, Career, Family, and Husband.
Bio, Education, and Family
Xu was born in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, China, on February 27, 1998. She had a passion for sketching and wanted to create an illustrated book or comic that would chronicle her childhood. After passing the admission test for the Beijing Film Academy, she went on to get a Bachelor of Fine Arts in animation production.
Career
Action movie star Jackie Chan found her when she was a student and suggested a movie audition. In 2018, Chan directed an art film called My Diary, in which she starred. The same year, she made her acting debut after signing with an agency. Jackie Chan extended an invitation to Xu in 2020 to play the lead part of Fareeda, an accountant who works for a terrorist organization, in the action thriller Vanguard. She played the lead in the Mango TV romantic web series Perfect and Casual that same year.
Xu was chosen to play the main role in Luo Luo’s romantic comedy Almost Love in 2022. She starred with Li Wenhan as a couple of long-dating high school sweethearts. The same year, she also appeared in the online shows Catch Up My Prince and Out with a Bang. She gave another outstanding performance in the romantic series The Forbidden Flower in 2023. She played He Yan, a dying artist who fell in love with Jerry Yan’s character, a destitute man years her senior. Positive reviews were given to Xu’s effortless performance and their on-screen connection with Yan. Xu was a competitor in the second season of Memories Beyond Horizon, a variety program with an acting theme, in 2024.
In Vanguard, Jackie Chan plays the CEO of a private security company whose staff is put to the test when one of its clients is the target of vicious assassins. Chan attempts to transition into mentor positions without giving up his reputation as an action hero. This quick-paced, quickly forgotten adventure is more of a branding exercise than a full-fledged star vehicle. Chan gets to be part of the set pieces, leaving the truly hard work to his emerging co-stars.
Another one of those romantic stories where a cold, distant gentleman falls in love with a kind-hearted female is Perfect and Casual. Even though you would think that storylines of this type would be quite cliche by now, they continue to be produced. Since these novels are simple to read and appeal to people who seek stress-free dramas or indulge in love illusions, I suppose there is still a sizable market for them. Yun Shu also has a very warm heart and is highly trustworthy due to these qualities. She enjoys sketching as a pastime and reading manga.
