FastComet has run Black Friday sales in each of the last three years, with 80% to 85% off and, in 2023 and 2024, a coupon code. Below are today’s prices by term (including a pricing quirk worth knowing), what past sales cost, the renewal and refund rules, and whether to buy now or wait.

FastComet has not announced Black Friday 2026. Today its Starter plan is $1.99 a month on a 1-year term ($23.88 upfront); that first-term rate is lower than the 2- or 3-year rates, but over 2 or 3 years the longer terms cost less in total because of renewal. In its last two Black Friday sales Starter fell to $1.34 (2024, code BF85) and $1.79 (2025), so waiting could save a little, but Starter’s and Essential’s regular prices have since gone up, and today’s 1-year Starter price is already labelled “Save 80%”.
- Starter by term: $6.99 monthly, $1.99/mo on 1 year, $4.49/mo on 2 years, $3.29/mo on 3 years.
- Renewal: “The promotional price is for the first term only and renews at the regular rate” ($9.95 a month on Starter).
- Refunds: 30 days on the first payment for shared hosting, minus any domain fee.
- Watch out: its terms say prepaid periods “paid as part of custom offerings or discounts” are non-refundable; ask how that applies to a sale price.

- Not announced: fastcomet.com/black-friday redirects to the homepage (archived copies show it has done so since at least October 2022), and /promotions and /deals return 404.

The pricing quirk: 1 year has the lowest first-year price
At checkout, Starter’s price depends on the term. The 1-year term has the lowest monthly rate for the first term, and checkout labels it “Save 80%”, the same discount FastComet advertised (“80% OFF”) for Black Friday 2025:

The catch is renewal. After the first term, Starter renews at the regular $9.95 a month, so the cheapest first year is not the cheapest way to host for longer. By our calculation at today’s regular price, 1 year plus a renewal costs about $143.28 for 2 years, against $107.77 on the 2-year term. Over 3 years it is about $262.68, against $118.46 on the 3-year term. Choose 1 year if you only want to commit for 12 months. Choose 3 years if you plan to stay.
What FastComet offered last Black Friday
These come from archived copies of FastComet’s homepage and plans page in the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine; dates are when the copies were captured, not official start and end dates.
- 2025: the homepage on 27 November said “now with 80% OFF”, “Starting at $1.79/mo”. The plans page on 6 December showed Starter $1.79, Essential $2.39, Plus $3.59 and Extra $4.99 a month. No code appeared in the captured text.
- 2024: “Starting at $1.34/mo with coupon code: BF85” and “85% off on all Shared Hosting Plans + FREE Migration”: Starter $1.34, Essential $1.79, Plus $2.69, Extra $3.74 a month (30 November to 1 December 2024).
- 2023: code BFSALE80, “Starting at $2.39/mo” on the homepage on 25 November; the plans page on 27 November (Cyber Monday) showed 85% off. Why the two differ is not verified.
- Prices have risen: Starter’s regular price was $8.95 and Essential’s $11.95 in 2024 and 2025; today they are $9.95 and $12.95.
We could not confirm which billing terms those sale prices needed. Compared with today’s 1-year Starter price ($1.99), the 2025 sale was $0.20 a month lower and the 2024 sale $0.65 lower.
FastComet refunds and renewals
- 30 days, first payment: “The Company will refund the hosting fee paid by the Customer only for the initial payment”, and for shared hosting the cancellation must take effect “in less than 30 days”.
- Domain fees kept: “the domain name registration fee is always withheld, even if this fee was waived at the time of purchase”; the same applies to transfer fees.
- Discounts: FastComet’s terms say “unused time and prepaid periods, paid as part of custom offerings or discounts, are non-refundable.” We could not confirm whether that covers a Black Friday price, so ask billing before you buy if a refund matters.
- Not refundable: Cloud VPS and dedicated servers, add-ons, licences and setup fees.
- Renewals: charged three days before the due date; refundable only if you cancel before the renewal term begins.
Should you buy FastComet now or wait for Black Friday?
- Need hosting now? Starter on the 1-year term ($23.88) is already 80% off. The last two Black Friday prices were $0.20 to $0.65 a month lower, about $2.40 to $7.80 over 12 months if they applied to a 1-year term, which we could not confirm.
- Can wait? FastComet’s Black Friday sales were live in late November in 2023, 2024 and 2025; we can’t know the 2026 price.
