1] Early Life

Singer full name is Kelly Brianne Clarkson born on April 24, 1982, in Fort Worth, Texas. Brianne started schooling at a young age, and she graduated from Burleson High School in 2000. The young singer knew that signing is the passion and started the career in the music industry after college.  Los Angles was the place, where Kelly started her career.

An unemployed person coming from a middle-class family cannot afford to live in Los Angles without a job. Clarkson started to take odd jobs to remain in LA, and it helped her pursue music as a career. A television show offered her a job to work as a female vocalist with songwriter Gerry Goffin.

Unfortunately, it did not end well, and she had to return to hometown Texas in 2002. However, the young singer did not give up on the dream and keep continuing her journey. American Idol started to held audition in Texas, and Kelly learned from her friend about it.

Fortunately, the judges selected Brianne from 10,000 applicants. Judges knew in the audition that the finals have a place for her.

2] American Idol 2002

The auditions in 2002 hosted by Fox channel helped shape the career of Kelly. The AI televised eliminations, critical evaluations, suspense, and praises. The judges Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, and Randy Jackson, did not hesitate to evaluate the signing skills of the candidates. Kelly defeated Justin Guarini to become the first-ever winner of the franchise on September 4, 2002.

As per the deal, the #1 winner earns an official million-dollar RCA record contract. A million dollar deal for the winner to launch an album and the label will promote across the country. The first-ever American Idol grabbed the attention & headlines, and it opened a path for the singer to shine in national television.

3] Initial Success

On September 17, 2002, “Before Your Love” & “A Moment Like This” song released in the debut single song. Clarkson performed both songs on the grand finale of the American Idol. The debut singles were at 60th position in the billboard.

The nation listened to the debut song, and it performed very well climbing on number 52. Little did they know that the 38-year-old record set by the British band The Beatles broken by Kelly’s song.

The singles debut song became the best-selling single of 2002 in the United States.

Following the next year, the album Thankful (2003) released in America. Fortunately, the album did better than the debut movie she performed in the last year. The debut album had several songs, but “Miss Independent” performed extremely well compared to other songs.

Kelly did wait for any further, and the singer knew that the country is waiting for the next album. The record label started to work on the next album to take advantage of the popularity. In 2004, Breakaway (2004) album launched and it sparked several hits such as “Since U Been Gone,” “Behind These Hazel Eyes,” “Breakaway,” and “Walk Away.”

4] Fame & Success

Kelly sold millions of records in the USA alone, and it earned her millions of dollars from tours, performance, and endorsements. The newly fame singer had different plans to keep the hits going in future.

The two-time Grammy award winner decided to work with different songwriters, musicians, and more. The Grammy winner decided to rely on her writings and lyrics to captivate the audience. It was a good idea to rely more on singing skills & writing skills, but it did not go well with producer Clive Davis.

The album My December (2007) released despite the suggestion coming from the producer that they needed rework. However, Brianne personally crafted the art of music in this music and refused to let anybody touch the album or songs in it.

My December (2007) had strong sales, and the overall response from the audience & fans was positive. Unfortunately, Kelly took a step ahead by firing existing management and canceled concert tour for the summer of 2007.

Later on, the singer expressed deep regret over the dispute and firing everyone. Kelly appreciated the support & key role of the Davis in success. He was an important force in Clarkson career and released an album with her when David was not obligated to do so.

Clarkson spends 2008 – 2009 to create new music for the next album, and in 2009, “All I Ever Wanted” album released. The song “My Life Would Suck Without You” started on number 97 and it jumped to number one spot.
