Surfshark’s Black Friday 2026 deal is live now: its deals page says “Grab our Black Friday deal here”, and the 2-year Starter and One plans cost $2.49 a month with 3 extra months, $67.23 for the first 27 months, when we checked on 5 November 2026. Surfshark says its sale “typically starts early” ahead of Black Friday on 27 November. Prices here are in US dollars; Surfshark may show your local currency and add VAT or sales tax.
Below are all three plans at the Black Friday price, what each costs once it renews, which plan to pick (the cheapest plan is not the best buy right now), the refund rules and how the deal compares with other VPN Black Friday offers.

Surfshark’s Black Friday sale is already live: on the 2-year plan, Starter and One both cost $2.49 a month, $67.23 for 27 months (24 plus 3 extra). Because the price is the same, One is the better buy: it adds antivirus, scam protection and Surfshark Alert for nothing extra during those 27 months. The difference shows at renewal: $99 a year for One against $79 for Starter.
- One+: $3.99 a month ($107.73 for 27 months), adds Incogni data removal and identity theft coverage; renews at $119 a year.
- Every plan: unlimited devices for the VPN (antivirus excluded; subject to a fair-usage policy), ad and cookie pop-up blocker, split tunnelling, rotating IP and double VPN.
- Refund: 30 days from your first purchase, one refund per service.
- Watch out: renewal is at the standard rate, about 3.3 times the deal price per year on One (our calculation).

On 4 November, Surfshark’s “Save 87%” and “Save 88%” labels compared the deal with paying the monthly price (for example $18.95 for Starter) for 27 months. Against One’s own renewal rate of $8.25 a month, the saving is about 70% (our calculation, matching Surfshark’s page data).
Shorter terms cost more: on 4 November the 12-month plans were $2.99 a month ($44.85 for 15 months) for Starter and One, and monthly billing was $18.95, $19.95 and $22.85 for Starter, One and One+.
Which Surfshark plan to pick this Black Friday
Normally Starter is the cheaper plan. During this sale, Starter and One cost exactly the same for the first 27 months, so One gives you its extra tools (antivirus, scam protection and Alert) at no extra cost up front.
- Pick One if you want the extras for 27 months and plan to cancel or switch before renewal, or are happy to pay $99 a year after.
- Pick Starter if you only want the VPN and expect to renew: it renews at $79 a year, $20 less than One.
- Pick One+ ($107.73) only if you want Incogni data removal and identity theft coverage; check that the coverage applies in your country.

What it costs after the deal
Surfshark’s pricing terms say “All subscription plans renew automatically at the full price” and “The renewal price will be at the standard non-introductory rate.” The 2-year plan “is billed once at the beginning of your subscription and then annually after it expires.”
On One, the first 27 months cost $67.23 (about $29.88 a year); each year after costs $99, about 3.3 times as much (our calculation). Over 3 years and 3 months (39 months) that is $166.23 in total, or about $4.26 a month. Surfshark also says it “reserves the right to conduct A/B price testing”, so check the renewal price at checkout.
Surfshark refunds and free trial
- 30 days: “we guarantee you a right to claim a refund within 30 days following your initial purchase of our Services.” It “applies only to your initial purchase and is limited to one refund per Service”, and “all recurring payments are non-refundable.”
- Exceptions: no refunds for prepaid or gift-card payments, anonymous Dedicated IP purchases or Alternative ID add-ons; purchases through resellers other than Paddle, Google Play or Cleverbridge follow the reseller’s refund rules.
- Free trial: on 5 November the pricing page showed “Today you will pay $0.00. After the free trial, you will be charged $67.23 for a 27-month subscription (plus tax).” Surfshark’s FAQ says a trial can be used on 3 devices until it ends. Whether you see a trial may depend on your device or region.
