Discover it Student Cash Back
A versatile card, the Discover it® Student Cash Back gives two- and four-year college students the chance to establish credit while receiving benefits. To apply, you must be a U.S. citizen and above 18.
After activation, cardholders can receive 5% cash back on a variety of categories up to a quarterly maximum of $1,500 (after which it drops to 1%). In case of any other transactions, you will immediately receive an unlimited 1% cash back.
Additionally, there is an introductory 0% APR for six months on new purchases, which is ideal for financing textbooks or dorm room necessities.
