Remember that you are only allowed to take water and a camera with you. Inside the building there are the tombs of the Shah and his wife Mumtaz Mahal, decorated with precious stones. It is best to visit the mausoleum early in the morning.

Ganges

The largest and the longest river in India. It has great economic and cultural significance for the country. A sacred river for Hindus, it is also a place of numerous rituals. It originates in the Himalayas, descends to the Bay of Bengal. The Ganges is partially navigable. Flora and fauna are gradually becoming poorer, but they are still of interest to tourists. Many cities and temples have been built along the shores.

Swimming in the Ganges is unsafe for foreign tourists. As the river is used for rituals, the water there is significantly polluted. However, the shore of the Ganges is still a perfect place to explore the culture and real life and beliefs of the Indians.

Periyar National Park

The beauty of the Kardamom Mountains, the Pambiyar River and the lake Periyar and countless varieties of exotic plants. All of these can be found in the Periyar National Park. It is one of the most popular sights in the country. Almost 4 million tourists come here annually. Today the park occupies almost 350 sq.km. 70% of this area is covered with evergreen forests. Each visitor has the opportunity to enjoy the beauty and uniqueness of more than 2000 species of plants. The local fauna is represented here by more than 60 species of mammals. Here, tourists can see tigers, elephants, zebras, bison, mongooses, leopards in the wild. Besides them, the park is home to many reptiles, birds and amphibians. You can also enjoy the beauty and coolness by going to the center of the park, where Lake Periyar is located.

Mehrangarh Fort

A huge fortress on the top of a mountain.  It is located in the state of Rajasthan, right above the city of Jodhpur. Construction began in the middle of the XV century, along with the construction of the city. The walls and gates were built for several centuries and became simply monumental. Until the middle of the XX century, local rulers lived in the fortress.

Palolem Beach

The famous Palolem Beach is located in the southern part of Goa on the coast of the Arabian Sea. The place is considered one of the most beautiful in India. The beach is surrounded by high capes and is a bay of natural origin. There are rarely waves here and the sea is almost always calm. The sand on the shore is surprisingly clean, and the palm trees bend their leaves all the way to the shore. The length of the beach is a little more than 3 km. There is everything for a good and comfortable stay.
