Nusa Dua Beach, Bali

Once you visit Nusa Dua beach, you’ll know what actually a Balinese beach is – tranquil, calm waters, white sand and abundance of nearby attractions. It looks straight out of the postcard and during sunrise, it seems to be the best tropical island.

The sky has a crimson glow over the sapphire sea and this is a sight to behold. It is a 20 minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport and is an ideal place during a short trip to Bali.

Pink Beach, Komodo Island

Majority of the tourists visit Komodo Island to look for the destination’s dragons which are said to be the largest lizards in the world.

These species have been safugarded since 1980 at the Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site that welcomes thousands of visitors every years. The Pink Beach is another attraction apart from the Komodo Dragong. The red shells give this pink tinge to the beach.

Gili Trawangan, Lombok

The Gili Islands are a cluster of three small islands located to the northwest of Lombok. They have been one of the best destinations for island hopping Indonesian backpackers.

They have a unique charm and a great atmosphere that hits the right notes for a lovely weekend. Gili Trawangan boasts of having the best beaches in Indonesia.

Sire Beach, Lombok

Mount Rinjani serves as the background of the Sire beach which is one of the best beaches with a great view in Lombok.

The coastline stretches for 4 kms and takes a crescent shape that treats travelers to lovely panoramic views of cotton candy clouds and breathtaking sunsets. You’ll get everything you need from the rental shops along the beach.

Trikora Beach, Bintan

Trikora lies on the northern side of the Bintan island and it is a go-to beach for the tourists. There are four adjacent beaches with some of most splendid boulders and soft white sand. Watch out closely for small snails and several other creatures in this area. Trikora Beach is best for kite surfing.

Nongsa Beach, Batam

Nearby Batam, there is a part of Riau Islands that invite tourists to enjoy the sand, surf and the beaches. Nongsa Beach is Batam’s one of the best beaches and it is just a 20-minute drive from the airport.

Pangandaran, Java

Seminyak Beach, Bali

Mangsit Beach, Lombok

If you want to experience something different, visit the Mangsit beach where you get black volcanic sand that sparkles under the sunlight.

You can find a Mangsit beach at a 5-minute drive from Senggigi on Lombok. The gentle surf creates the best environment for swimming. Mangsit Beach is less developed than other beaches around Lombok.

Air Manis Beach, Sumatra

Air Manis Beach lies in West Sumatra and it has everything that you can expect from any of the beast beaches in Indonesia.

Nusa Penida, Bali

Cimaja, Java

Ngurtafur Beach, Warbal Island, Maluku

Snaking its way for 2kms into the Indian Ocean from Warbal Island, Ngurtafur Beach looks like a sandbank than a beach.

Derawan Island Beaches, East Kalimantan
