The best Hostinger alternatives are Bluehost, SiteGround, GoDaddy, Namecheap, DreamHost and Cloudways. Each one beats Hostinger at something: Bluehost renews cheaper, SiteGround and GoDaddy include phone support and daily backups, Namecheap lets you try it free for 30 days, DreamHost allows 25 sites on its entry plan, and Cloudways is managed cloud hosting you can pay for by the hour.
Hostinger is still one of the cheapest hosts to start with, so this guide compares every alternative against Hostinger’s own prices. All prices come from each company’s own pages, checked on 22 October 2026 (GoDaddy’s from its US page as archived on 21 October 2026).

| Host | Entry plan, first term | Renews at | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hostinger (baseline) | $2.49/mo (48 months) | $10.99/mo | Lowest total price |
| Bluehost | $3.99/mo (36 months) | $9.99/mo | Lower renewal, 10 sites |
| SiteGround | $3.99/mo (12 months) | $17.99/mo | Phone support, daily backups |
| GoDaddy | $5.99/mo (36 months) | Not stated (regular $11.99) | cPanel, phone support, WAF |

| DreamHost | $2.89/mo (first year) | $10.99/mo | Many sites, daily backups |
| Cloudways | From $14/mo, billed hourly | Same price (no intro discount was shown) | Managed cloud, no long contract |
Why look for a Hostinger alternative?
Hostinger is cheap and easy, but it is not for everyone. The usual reasons people look elsewhere are:
- No phone support. Hostinger offers 24/7 chat and an AI assistant, but no phone line.
- Weekly backups on the entry plan. Daily backups start on Hostinger’s Unlimited plan.
- Long terms for the best price. The lowest price needs 48 months paid upfront.
- hPanel, not cPanel. Hostinger uses its own control panel.

1. Bluehost: lower renewal price
Bluehost’s Starter plan cost $3.99 a month on a 36-month term and renews at $9.99, a dollar less than Hostinger Premium’s renewal. It allows 10 websites with 10 GB of NVMe storage and weekly backups, and Bluehost lists a 99.99% uptime SLA. Phone support starts on the Business plan ($6.99 a month, renews $13.99), which also adds a web application firewall. Like Hostinger, Bluehost is on WordPress.org’s recommended hosting page.
Choose it if you plan to stay for years, or you want several small sites on one cheap plan. Full details: Hostinger vs Bluehost.
2. SiteGround: support and daily backups
SiteGround’s StartUp plan cost $3.99 a month prepaid for 12 months, then renews at $17.99. It hosts 1 website with 10 GB of storage, and every SiteGround plan includes daily backups and 24/7 support by phone, chat and tickets. SiteGround runs on Google Cloud, has a CDN with 170+ edge locations and promises 99.9% uptime.
Choose it if support and backups matter more than price. The renewal is the catch: StartUp costs about $695 over 4 years, against $119.52 for Hostinger Premium. Full details: Hostinger vs SiteGround.
3. GoDaddy: cPanel, phone support and a firewall
GoDaddy’s Economy plan cost $5.99 a month on a 36-month term (its regular price is $11.99). It hosts 1 website with 25 GB of NVMe storage, and every GoDaddy web hosting plan includes cPanel, daily backups, a web application firewall, a CDN, DDoS protection and 24/7 phone and chat support. GoDaddy says introductory pricing is for the first term only and renewal pricing is subject to change, so check the renewal in the cart.
Choose it if you know cPanel or want phone support on the cheapest plan. Full details: Hostinger vs GoDaddy.

4. Namecheap: try it free for 30 days
Namecheap offers a 30-day free trial on its shared hosting (one per account). After the trial, the Stellar plan cost $2.28 a month on yearly billing ($26.88 a year) on 22 October 2026, with 3 websites, 20 GB of SSD storage and 30 mailboxes. Stellar Plus ($2.98) adds unlimited websites and automatic backups. Namecheap lists a 100% uptime guarantee, free migration and data centres in the US, the EU and Singapore.
Two things to check: the plan card does not show the renewal price, and Namecheap says its 30-day money-back guarantee only applies to new customers who start without the free trial.
Choose it if you want to test a host before paying, or you want yearly billing instead of a 4-year commitment.
5. DreamHost: 25 sites and daily backups
DreamHost’s Web Hosting Launch plan cost $2.89 a month for the first year and renews at $10.99. It allows 25 websites, 25 GB of NVMe storage and about 40,000 monthly visits. DreamHost says every plan includes daily backups, free site migrations and 24/7 support by live chat or email, and it lists a 100% uptime guarantee. Annual plans include a free domain for a year, and DreamHost offers to build a free 4-page starter website for you.
Choose it if you want many small sites and daily backups on a one-year term. Like Hostinger, DreamHost has no phone support.
6. Cloudways: managed cloud, pay by the hour
Cloudways is a different kind of host: managed cloud servers on providers such as DigitalOcean, Vultr, AWS and Google Cloud. On 22 October 2026 its pricing page showed the smallest plan at $14 a month (1 GB RAM, 1 vCPU, 25 GB NVMe), billed hourly at $0.0208. Every plan allows unlimited websites, and there is a 3-day free trial with no credit card. Offsite backup storage costs extra ($0.033 per GB).
Choose it if your site has outgrown shared hosting and you want your own server resources without a long contract. It costs more than shared hosting.
