Hostinger is cheaper; GoDaddy includes more on every plan. Hostinger’s entry plan cost $2.49 a month on a 48-month term in October 2026 (or $1.99 with our extra 20% off), against $5.99 a month on a 36-month term for GoDaddy’s Economy plan. In return, GoDaddy’s plans include daily backups, a web application firewall (WAF) and 24/7 phone support, which Hostinger’s entry plan does not.
This comparison uses each company’s own pages: Hostinger’s pricing pages checked on 22 October 2026, and GoDaddy’s US web hosting page as archived on 21 October 2026. It covers prices, renewals, features, domains, support and which host suits readers in India.

- Cheaper to start: Hostinger ($2.49 vs $5.99 a month on the entry plans)
- More websites on the entry plan: Hostinger (3 vs 1)
- Daily backups on every plan: GoDaddy; Hostinger’s entry plan backs up weekly
- Phone support: GoDaddy (24/7 phone and chat); Hostinger has chat only

Hostinger vs GoDaddy: prices compared
| Plan level | Hostinger (48 months) | GoDaddy (36 months) |
|---|---|---|
| Entry | Premium: $2.49/mo, renews $10.99 | Economy: $5.99/mo (regular $11.99) |
| Middle | Unlimited: $3.49/mo, renews $16.99 | Deluxe: $7.99/mo (regular $16.99) |

| With our extra 20% off | Premium $1.99, Unlimited $2.79, Ecommerce Startup $6.39 | – |
One thing to know before you compare renewals: Hostinger states the exact renewal price on each plan card. GoDaddy’s page shows a crossed-out regular price, and its disclaimer says renewal pricing “subject to change”. Check the renewal price in the GoDaddy cart before you pay.

Which is cheaper over 4 years?
| Entry plan | How it is billed | Cost over 4 years |
|---|---|---|
| Hostinger Premium, with our extra 20% off | 48 months upfront | $95.52 |
| Hostinger Premium, sale price | 48 months upfront | $119.52 |
| GoDaddy Economy | 36 months ($215.64), then 12 months at the $11.99 regular price ($143.88) | $359.52 |
On price alone, Hostinger is far cheaper for the first few years. The gap is smaller once both plans renew, and GoDaddy’s plans include extras (daily backups, a WAF, phone support) that you would otherwise need to add yourself.
Features compared: entry plans
| Feature | Hostinger Premium | GoDaddy Economy |
|---|---|---|
| Websites | 3 | 1 |
| Storage | 20 GB SSD | 25 GB NVMe |
| Backups | Weekly | Daily |
| SSL | Unlimited free SSL | Free SSL for 1 year |
| Security extras | Malware scanning, IP and country blocking | WAF, CDN, daily malware scanning, DDoS protection |
| Control panel | hPanel | cPanel |
| Uptime promise | 99.9% guarantee | 99.9% guarantee |
| Support | 24/7 chat and AI assistant | 24/7 phone and chat |
| Free email | 2 mailboxes per site, free for 1 year | Email trial that renews automatically at the current price |
Two details matter more than they look. GoDaddy’s Economy plan includes a free SSL certificate for 1 year only, while its Deluxe and Ultimate plans include free, unlimited SSL. And GoDaddy’s free email is a trial: its page says activating it means it renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel.

Middle plans: Hostinger Unlimited vs GoDaddy Deluxe
- Websites: unlimited on Hostinger, 10 on GoDaddy.
- Storage: 50 GB NVMe on both.
- Backups: daily on both.
- SSL: free on all sites with both.
- Price: $3.49 a month (Hostinger, 48 months) vs $7.99 (GoDaddy, 36 months). Hostinger renews at $16.99; GoDaddy shows a $16.99 regular price.
At this level the plans are close on features, and Hostinger costs less than half as much for the first term.
Hostinger vs GoDaddy for domains
Both sell a .com domain for $0.01 for the first year when you register it for 3 years. The difference is the price after that:
- Hostinger: .com renews at $19.99 a year (domain search page, 22 October 2026).
- GoDaddy: additional years cost $22.99 (.com page, archived 14 October 2026).
Both web hosting offers also include a free domain for the first year on eligible plans. GoDaddy says the free domain renews at the then-current price after the first year.

Hostinger vs GoDaddy: which is better in India?
For an Indian website, Hostinger has two clear advantages: lower prices and a data centre in India. Hostinger lists data centres in India, Indonesia and Malaysia, while GoDaddy’s India hosting page lists data centres in North America and Europe. A server close to your visitors usually loads pages faster.
| Plan | Price in India | Websites / storage |
|---|---|---|
| Hostinger Single (48 months) | ₹69/mo, renews ₹289 | 1 site, 10 GB SSD |
| Hostinger Premium (48 months) | ₹139/mo, renews ₹449 | 3 sites, 20 GB SSD |
| Hostinger Unlimited (48 months) | ₹199/mo, renews ₹649 | Unlimited sites, 50 GB NVMe |
| GoDaddy Starter (3 years) | ₹89/mo (regular ₹299) | 1 site, 10 GB NVMe |
| GoDaddy Economy (3 years) | ₹219/mo (regular ₹599) | 1 site, 25 GB NVMe |
| GoDaddy Deluxe (3 years) | ₹329/mo (regular ₹849) | 10 sites, 50 GB NVMe |
Support, control panel and ease of use
GoDaddy offers 24/7 support by phone and chat, including SMS, according to its hosting page, and uses cPanel, the control panel many web hosts use. If you have used cPanel before, GoDaddy will feel familiar.
Hostinger offers 24/7 live chat and its AI assistant, but no phone line, and uses its own hPanel, which it built in 2011. hPanel is simpler for beginners, but it works differently from cPanel. Both companies offer a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Hostinger vs GoDaddy: which should you choose?
- Choose Hostinger if you want the lowest price, you need more than one site on the entry plan, your visitors are in India or Asia, or you are happy with chat support.
- Choose GoDaddy if you want phone support, daily backups and a WAF on the cheapest plan, you already know cPanel, or you want your domain and hosting with the world’s biggest domain registrar (GoDaddy’s own description).
We have not run our own speed or uptime tests for this comparison. Both hosts promise 99.9% uptime; the figures above are what each company publishes.
