Bhadra Fort - Fortress in Ahmedabad, Gujarat

It encompasses a huge, 15th century fort that was built during the Maratha rule. It is called the Bhadra Fort. The fort includes a majestic palace, a mystical Bhadra Kali temple and a beautiful courtyard.

The fort is managed by the Archaeological Survey of India and was renovated in the year 2014. It remains open for visitors from 9 am to 5 pm every day.

Nagina Wadi

This is a beautiful island that lies in the Kankaria Lake. A straight, tree lined walkway leads to this island. The main attraction of the island is a multi-coloured musical fountain. Laser lights of different colours are displayed here during the evening hours.

Sabarmati Ashram

This ashram was built by the great Indian leader, Mahatma Gandhi. Often known as Gandhi Ashram, it lies on the banks of river Sabarmati. The place is peaceful and exudes positive vibes.

Vastrapur Lake
